Mar de Lumes – Comité Galego de Solidariedade Internacionalista quer aderir á campaña internacional que exixe ao goberno sionista de Israel a liberación do Secretario Xeral da FPLP, Ahmad Sa’adat, e a do resto das máis de 5.200 persoas secuestradas e encarceradas en Israel baixo o mesmo tipo de escusas que o sionismo usa para estabelecer check-points, toques de recoller, zonas de exclusión ou calquera outra das postas en escena do apartheid.
Ahmad Sa’adat, como tantas outras persoas do seu país, representa un exemplo da dignidade con que día tras día o povo palestiniano enfrenta a ocupación, os bombardeamentos, as agresións e a asfixia económica e social tanto na faixa de Gaza como na Cisxordania e en Xerusalén-Leste. Unha dignidade que é tamén a contraparte evidente da covardía do ocupante e, ao mesmo tempo, a continuación lóxica dun compromiso co propio país. No caso de Ahmad Sa’adat, dun compromiso revolucionario.
Desde Mar de Lumes somos conscientes das torturas e dos abusos que Israel comete ao amparo dos seus cárceres, e tamén da impunidade que lle outorgan os Estados Unidos e a Unión Europea á que nós, como galegas e galegos, estamos tamén suxeitos pola forza. Sabemos, tamén, que o povo árabe e, concretamente, o povo da Palestina, é indestrutíbel, e que a razón non pode ser recluída en prisións nen con cadeas de tipo ningún. Nen sequer polas pesadas cadeas de terror do rexime sionista. Por iso:
Exiximos a liberación de Ahmad Sa’adat e das máis de 5.200 persoas presas.
Exiximos o fin da ocupación e das agresións.
Palestina Vencerá!

Freedom for the Palestinian political prisoners!
Sea of Fires – Galizan Committee for Internationalist Solidarity wants to adhere to the international campaign demanding the Zionist government of Israel to release the PFLP General Secretary Ahmad Sa’adat, and the rest of the more than 5,200 people kidnapped and imprisoned in Israel under the same kind of excuses that Zionism uses to establish check-points, curfews, exclusion zones and other stagings of apartheid policy.
Ahmad Sa’adat, like so many other people of his country, represents an example of dignity with which the Palestinian people is day after day facing occupation, bombings, assaults and economic and social strangling, both in Gaza and in the West Bank and East-Jerusalem. This dignity is the obvious counterpart of the cowardice of the occupier and, at the same time, the logical continuation of a commitment with the Palestinian people. In the case of Ahmad Sa’adat, a revolutionary commitment.
From Sea of Fires, we are aware of the torture and abuses committed in Israeli prisons, and also of the impunity granted to Zionism by the United States and the European Union, to which we as Galizans are also subject by force. We are aware that the determination of the Arab people and, specifically, the people of Palestine, is unbreakable, and that reason cannot be confined to prisons nor bound by chains of any kind. Not even by the heavy chains of the Zionist regime of terror. Therefore:
We demand the release of Ahmad Sa’adat and of the more than 5,200 imprisoned.
We demand an end to the occupation and the aggressions.
Palestine shall overcome!
